- 1.2 13.2. Competencies expected: Using the tools available in DCS, the pilot will demonstrate
- 1.3 13.2.1. map, photo, or visual reconnaissance.
- 1.4 13.2.2. that the landing zone (LZ) is suitable for operations and provide accurate and detailed information to supported unit if applicable.
- 1.5 13.2.3. Visually confirm the LZ suitability on initial approach.
