This will immediately maximise the the physical separation of all aircraft, whilst still remaining at the same altitude
In staggered formation, 2 columns require to break outwards AWAY from the formation
e.g. Staggered Left formation as Illustrated in figure below
Lead Aircraft is in right column;
- Lead aircraft continues on current heading
- Odd Chalk #'s (in right hand column) - break right & away from formation
- Even Chalk #'s (in Left hand column) - break left & away from formation
Return to IIMC breakup.
